Chumash

The PaJeS Chumash curriculum is aimed at Keystage 2 Primary School children (aged 7 – 11). Children build their knowledge, skills and understanding of Chumash in a spiralled way and activities are designed to be engaging and inspiring

Units

Starting with a Chumash Readiness unit, the curriculum focuses on selected texts and mefarshim from Sefer Bereishit. The focus is on building textual skills that lead to an understanding and appreciation of the deeper messages of Torah. There is also a chapter from Shemot (Unit 14) as well as texts from Vayikra (Unit 13, The Tishrei Chagim)
